Americans Abroad

Jermaine Jones played 90 minutes for Schalke as it continued its outside challenge for the Bundesliga title, beating Hamburg 3-1 at home. All the goals were scored in the first half, with Teemu Pukki, Christoph Metzelder and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar netting for Schalke before Gojko Kacar pulled back a consolation goal for Hamburg just before the break.
